Navagraha Religious and Charitable Trust

लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु ॥ “May all beings everywhere be happy and well.”

A Living Tradition of Devotion, Service and Cultural Heritage

The Navagraha Religious and Charitable Trust is rooted in the sacred land of Thirunelly, at the foot of Brahmagiri, where devotion, tradition, and service have flourished for generations.

Our purpose is to preserve and uphold the sacred cultural traditions of Bharat while serving society with compassion and responsibility. Through spiritual and ancestral practices, the preservation of Temple Arts and Traditional Martial Arts, the upliftment of Sanatana Dharma, care for nature and cows, sustainable cultivation, education, wellness, healthcare, and community service, we seek to nurture a harmonious and purposeful way of life.

Guided by timeless values and the spirit of “Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhino Bhavantu” — May all beings everywhere be happy and well, the Trust is committed to carrying our heritage forward while creating meaningful benefit for generations to come.

The place

Where Brahma’s Yagam
blessed the land.

Thirunelly rests in a fold of the Brahmagiri range, surrounded by reserve forest on three sides. Revered as the divine land where Brahma performed his sacred Yagam, it holds a unique and timeless place in the spiritual heritage of Kerala. Above the temple flows Papanasini, the sacred stream whose name means the destroyer of sin.

For centuries, pilgrims have journeyed here seeking the blessings of the temple and the purifying waters of Papanasini. Families have brought the ashes of their departed to these sacred waters, continuing ancient rites of remembrance and liberation before dawn.

It is in this divine land of Tirunelly, sanctified by an ancient spiritual tradition, that our Trust has its home — rooted in a heritage that remains living, sacred, and enduring.

The land that remembers

A sacred landscape,
a living tradition.

Here, the sacred is woven into the landscape itself. The forests, the temple, the mountain paths, and the quiet rhythm of pilgrimage have shaped Tirunelly across generations. It is a place where devotion is not only witnessed, but lived — through prayer, ritual, remembrance, and service.

Our Trust begins its journey from this extraordinary setting, with a commitment to serve with humility and to nurture the values that have long given this land its spiritual character. What begins here is not a new story, but a new chapter in a living legacy.

The seva

Where devotion
becomes service.

Seva is the natural expression of a life rooted in dharma. From the sacred land of Tirunelly, our Trust carries forward a spirit of service that reaches beyond one place — embracing people, communities, traditions, and the living heritage of Bharat.

Our journey begins in Tirunelly, but our vision is Bharat. To serve is to honour the sacredness of life itself — and every act of sincere seva is an offering.

Divine Goshala &
Nakshatra Temple

Where seva becomes sacred care.

The Divine Goshala is envisioned as a place of Go Seva, compassion, and reverence — a sanctuary where cows are protected, nourished, and cared for with dignity.

Rooted in the sacred traditions of Bharat, the Goshala will provide a safe and nurturing home for cows while creating a living space for devotion, learning, and service.
